Syneron Error Code Guide
Experiencing error codes on your Syneron systems and handpieces? We're here to help you navigate through them. Below are some common error messages along with their explanations to assist you in resolving any issues.
Laser Status: This error occurs when the machine's driver circuit boards become faulty. Several reasons could lead to circuit board damage, resulting in the machine not entering treatment-ready mode.
Laser Over Current: Indicates a problem with the laser diodes inside DSL or Comet diode handpieces. Typically occurs due to diode weakening after prolonged use. Refurbishment and diode replacement within the handpiece are necessary.
Temperature Fault: Signifies a problem with the temperature sensor inside the handpiece or the PCB board communicating with the sensor.
RF Card Fault: Points to an issue with the radiofrequency component inside the Syneron machine. Sometimes resolved by restarting the machine, but persistent error codes may require replacing the RF Card.
Bad Coupler: Occurs when the Syneron handpiece detects insufficient coupling gel applied to the treatment area. Resolve by applying a thicker gel layer and ensuring the metallic tip of the handpiece touches the gel.
Leakage Fault: Indicates an electrical malfunction within various machine components. Thorough inspection is needed to identify the failing component.
Error 10 (Syneron Elos Plus): IPL TEC (temperature fault) malfunction. Ensure TEC is functional, replace lamp, and clean water flow in the tip.
Error 24 (Syneron Elos Plus): Applicator low temperature. Internal applicator temperature is outside the allowable range. Check if sensor is disconnected or has failed.
Error 32 Capacitor Voltage Error (Syneron Elos Plus): Electrical system malfunction. Capacitor voltage (expected to be 195/189V) is outside the allowable range. Troubleshoot by selecting another applicator, replacing applicators, or replacing High Voltage/Real Time Controller boards.
